This is a hot air balloon flight experience at Mount Jubuichi in Nanyo City, where you can see the Okitama Basin.
On a clear day, you can see Yonezawa City and the beautiful rural landscape known as the "Arcadia of the East" along with the 2,000m-class 100 Famous Mountains (Iide Range, Azuma Range, and Asahi Range) that surround the Okitama Basin.
There are days when a sea of clouds forms due to the difference in temperature between morning and night brought about by the topography of the mountain. On these days, the cities and towns sometimes look as if they are submerged in a sea of clouds. A balloon flight, in which the balloon is connected to the ground with a rope and rises to a height of approximately 15 to 20 meters, is a truly extraordinary experience.

In addition to the boarding-only experience, this plan offers an option of full participation, where you can participate in everything from preparation to cleanup.
<Difference between boarding-only and full participation>
- Boarding-only
This is a general balloon flight experience. After the registration, you ride on the balloon! The actual balloon ride experience takes about 5 minutes. After boarding, you are free to disperse.
- Full Participation
This is a participatory option where you work with the pilot from preparing the balloon to cleaning it up. You can unfurl a large balloon weighing over 200 kg, attach a carabiner, set the gas, and most importantly, test the gas burner. This team work makes the ride even more special.
