A famous waterfall in Shirabu Onsen(Shirabu Hot spring). The majestic appearance with a height of 30m is quite spectacular.

"Shirabu Otaki" is a waterfall with a head of 30m that runs upstream of the Otaru River that runs along the Shirabu Onsen district located in the southern part of Yonezawa City in Yamagata.

It got its name because it looks like a piece of white cloth.Since you can walk there from the hot spring town,

you must see the fresh  green leaves when the melted snow of Mt. Nishi-Azuma flows out and autumn leaves in autumn.

The path to the waterfall is steep and slippery, so please wear comfortable shoes such as sneakers when you visit Shirabu Falls.
