Caldera Hot Spring Baths(Karudera Onsenkan) is a building featuring a wood-themed design. In addition to its atmospheric indoor baths, it also offers a stone-lined open-air bath where you can relax surrounded by nature.
Furthermore, the facility features carbonated spring water—a rarity in Japan—which, when consumed, helps stimulate internal organ function.
Outside the building stands a monument inscribed with a poem by the poet Mokichi Saito, which is also worth seeing.
