Shirakawa Dam Kogan Park
This is a park around Lake Shirakawa formed by Shirakawa Dam. There are auto campgrounds, park golf courses, and canoe boarding areas in the park. For about a month from mid-April to mid-May, you can see a rare sight called "Suibotsulin" that appears only during the spring after melting of snow.
The rows of cherry blossom trees in the park are late-blooming cherry blossoms that bloom in mid-May.
In the summer, the midsummer snow festival "snow Egg Festival" is held on the last Saturday of July, and various snow-related events are held.
The autumn leaves around the lakeside are also wonderful in Fall.
It is a beautiful park throughout the four seasons. Let's fully enjoy the outdoors here surrounded by nature.
