Okitama Park Herb Garden
The largest herb garden in Yamagata Prefecture with about 100 kinds of herbs.
It is the largest herb park in the Yamagata prefecture, where about 100 kinds of herbs are cultivated on a site of 1,000㎡.
The best time to see is from mid-June to early July.
During the season, it will hold the Okitama Park Herb Garden Fair where you can enjoy various menus such as picking herbs and crafting experience.
(Scheduled to be held from June 19 to July 11 in 2021)
During the fair, limited menus using herbs will be offered at restaurants and confectioneries at event in Kawanishi Town.
